I’m Helen Pritchard, videographer, and I will use my background experience with the BBC and as a college videography tutor to explain and show you in very simple terms what you will need to make professional-looking videos with your mobile or DSLR or dedicated video camera.

I’m Helen Pritchard. If you want to embrace the power of video but you aren’t sure how, I’m here to help. There is little doubt that we have reached a tipping point and video is now hugely influential and beneficial when it comes to property marketing and also, to your SEO. A lot of people will think themselves unable to learn the necessary skills but with modern equipment and great advice, it’s not as hard as you might think.

The basic principles of filming so you can set up for a successful video shoot within your properties. We’ll cover cameras and the pros and cons to using different types of cameras, audio equipment and basic lighting techniques.
The settings for the best quality video so you can use this successfully within an edited video.
Walking techniques with and without a gimble and tripod.
Creating video for different social media channels, different ideas that could work to engage your audience.
An opportunity to ask questions based on your personal experience.
Very basic editing techniques which will make a difference to HOW you film.

What you will learn in workshops at your premises or vacant property

Within 2.5 hours

Helen could visit one of your vacant, furnished properties so that you will be able to go through all the techniques you need to make a successful video. You’ll start with setting up your camera (possibly at your nearby office) and then head straight into the property to start filming. ‘Learning on the job’ works great for some people as they learn quicker and will pick up the techniques faster while you’re physically filming.

For workshops at your location please call if you are 2 miles or more from Camberley as we will charge travel @ 50p per mile both there and back. We may also charge additional travel time on top and long distances might potentially involve having to cover the cost of an overnight B&B (depending on where you are based in the UK).
